About Dialogo Therapy

Dialogo Therapy was founded by Nathanael “Nate” Carela, LMFT, with a vision to create a welcoming, culturally responsive space for individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Nate currently serves as the primary clinician at Dialogo Therapy, offering individual, couples, and family therapy with a focus on helping clients build stronger connections within themselves and with those they love.

While the practice continues to grow, our mission remains rooted in creating a space where people from all backgrounds feel seen, supported, and understood. We are passionate about fostering meaningful healing through empathy, collaboration, and genuine connection.

Dialogo Therapy provides in-person therapy in Allen Park, MI, and virtual sessions across Michigan, making quality mental health care accessible and personal—wherever you are on your journey.

The Beauty of Becoming

Becoming is rarely neat or easy. It’s the process of stumbling through pain, wrestling with old patterns, and slowly discovering what connection really means. At Dialogo Therapy, we believe becoming happens through dialogue — honest conversations that let us show up as we are, not as we think we should be.

Many of us carry struggles we don’t always name — shame, loneliness, conflict, the exhaustion of trying to hold it all together. We get stuck in the same arguments, the same silences, the same fears. And yet, something inside us keeps tugging for more: more closeness, more honesty, more freedom to be fully seen and heard.

The beauty of becoming is that it starts small. A single conversation. A pause to listen differently. A willingness to speak your truth, even when your voice shakes. Over time, these moments of dialogue create space for healing, for growth, and for connection that feels alive again.
